AOS is an accredited alternative school serving high school students who have demonstrated a need for a smaller learning environment. The AOS staff works with each student to achieve growth both academically and socially. Responsible behavior, effort in academics, and a positive attitude are part of the instructional goals and overall school experience.
Spirit Week: May 18-22
Each day will have a new theme and a fun activity during lunch.
As in the past we will have 4 teams competing for the trophy: Fresh/Soph, Juniors, Seniors, and Staff.
Points are earned by winning contests and dressing up.
Monday - Geek Day - Heavy Throwing contest
Tuesday - Sports Team Day - Tug-o-war
Wednesday - Movie/Rock Star Day - [Moon]pie eating contest
Thursday - Twin Day - 3-legged race
Friday - Hawaiian Day - Water balloon toss & Luau
Only 4 weeks to complete all necessary credits and Essential Skills to be considered a graduate!

Graduation takes places at the Tripp Theatre, in Takena Hall, on the LBCC campus.
Doors open at 6pm and the ceremony starts at 7pm.
