Staff Appreciation Week
Thanks to all the Calapooia Staff and all they do to help CMS students be more successful.
Congratulations to Tatianna, Austin and Amanda, our new Optimist Award winners for 2012!
Thank you to all of you who attended our 50th Birthday Celebration! It was fun to walk down "memory lane" with you.
The Honor Roll for 1st Semester has been sent to the Albany Democrat Herald. If your student qualifies but their name is not on the list, it could be because on the registration card the "do not publish my students name or picture" was checked by parent or guardian.
Basic School information
2011-2012 School Year Calendar Now Available
Early Release Days. Students are released at 12:38 pm.
To register you MUST HAVE proof of residence and a photo ID. Click on the button, "Registration Information" for registration details. Registration dates and times are as follows:
NEW: The Student Handbook button (at left) contains all the same information from the handbooks that students receive the first week of school. This is a valuable source of information for students and parents.
Important PIV Information
Parents, you should receive a Missing Grade Report for your student EVERY MONDAY. These reports need to be signed by you and returned to Advisory teachers on Tuesdays.
Teachers' gradebooks will be the MOST up-to-date by 8 AM every Monday. If you set the PIV to notify you on Fridays, you might want to change that automatic notification to Mondays.
Our goal is to keep you more informed as we work together to educate your student.
Do We Have Your Email Address?
If you do not think we have your current email, please send it to leah.robb@albany.k12.or.us and we will get it into our system so teachers can email you more easily. We are getting a lot of the email addresses back as "returned mail" from the first of the year. Communication is much easier between home and school with the correct email address. Thank you.
