Academic Improvement Plans

Rigorous and engaging academics is a top priority for GAPS, as outlined in the district’s Strategic Plan. To achieve academic excellence, each school in the district develops annual goals and school improvement plans. These improvement strategies are developed by analyzing various data points, including test scores, attendance data, behavior data, and parent engagement information. Inequities in student outcomes are examined to ensure equitable outcomes and systems for all students. Additionally, stakeholder involvement is prioritized in the goal-making process to ensure staff and parent support. 

Each school’s goals and supporting data is available below. Throughout the school year, each school provides a presentation to the School Board. The presentation includes school demographics, challenges, and current goals. As the presentations become available, they will be linked below.
