Meeting Agendas and Minutes
Committee Rationale and Charge
Career Technical Education is a dynamic and changing area of study that requires the understanding of current industry trends supported through partnerships with business and industry. The committee’s charge is to:
- Review and assist in facilitating partnerships between the school district and industry groups.
- Review and assist in facilitating partnerships between various education partners (i.e. Linn Benton Community College and Oregon State University).
- To review and develop understanding of CTE funding and advice the District and Board of Education on budget needs in support of District CTE programs.
- To review and advise the District and Board of Education on district programming relevant to current business and industry trends.
It is anticipated that once the advisory committee begins to meet there may be other areas that the committee finds that would be helpful information for the District and Board of Education.
