Albany Options School

Purpose:
An option for individuals for whom regular school attendance has become impractical. Help for students to deal with the issues that make regular school difficult in hopes of eventually returning to their home school.

Adult Basic Education/GED

Purpose:
Preparation classes available to students who do not have a high school diploma or who want to improve their basic skills in reading, communicating, computing and critical thinking.

Home Schooling

Purpose:
An educational alternative provided under state law. Requirements are the responsibility of the parent/guardian who chooses this option.

Home Tutoring

Purpose:
To assist in meeting the educational needs of students out for six or more weeks due to severe disabilities or expulsion from the regular program.

High School Independent Study

Purpose:
An alternative method for acquiring high school credit. This is not a diploma program but is away of completing credit requirements in a specific academic area.

Dual Enrollment (LBCC/OSU)

Purpose:
Available to students whose academic achievement in core content areas exceeds state standards and building/department options.
