Please utilize the links above to register students for the GAPS Think BIG Summer Programs! Albany Online summer classes are also listed below. The K-9 registration form lets us know if you will be participating in any of our community partner programs, which can be found below, and you will also be able to indicate transportation needs. Please complete the K-9 form by June 25, 2021.
When contacting community partners for registration, please let them know you have GAPS students to be able to have the registration cost covered. Each Community Partner has a system to identify GAPS students. You will be asked to share information about your child’s/teen’s school and grade level this school year (2020-21). YOU MUST CONTACT THE PARTNER(S) DIRECTLY TO REGISTER FOR THEIR PROGRAMS. Information on all community partner programs is linked below.
We encourage parents and guardians to check out the Adult Basic Skills classes also being held this summer at Linn Benton Community College! LBCC will have several programs available for parents and guardians to take part in this summer while their students enjoy LBCC’s Think BIG Summer programs or other GAPS and community offerings! GAPS K-9 Summer Academic Programs
FREE Summer Program Options for all district students!
Incoming K-9 will students will be a 5 week program from July 12 – August 12 held at Meadow Ridge Elementary and Timber Ridge, Monday – Thursday from 8:00 – 1:00. Students will receive breakfast and lunch. FREE Transportation will be provided. Bus route plans are being created and more details will be available soon.
Incoming Kinders – Will be part of the K-9 Summer Program. If your child will be a Kindergartener with us next year then please sign up!
8th grade students going into 9th grade will be part of the July 12 – August 12 program as well! Teachers will have “field trips” to both High Schools for all students participating as part of the High School Prep plan.
Students who will be in 9th – 12th grade next year will have the opportunity to sign up for camps and classes occurring at both comprehensive high schools. All students will be able to access the classes and camps at both schools!

In addition to all GAPS and partner programs for grade K-9 students, select GAPS High School Camps are also available for incoming grade 6-8 middle school students! Click the link below for details and to register!

Classes will be open June 16-Aug.18th. These rigorous semester long classes will need to be completed in the 9 weeks of summer session. All classes will receive a letter grade that will be reflected on report cards and transcripts.

Boys & Girls Clubs provide a fun, safe, supervised environment for recreational and educational activities where all boys and girls, especially those who need us the most, can develop self-esteem and the qualities needed to become caring, responsible citizens. Oregon State’s KidSpirit summer programs include half day and full day camps, two week camps, and individual classes such as archery, summer cooking academy, and summer gymnastics – all on the OSU campus! They know we may have school district students contacting them to sign up for one or more of their options and are working on expanding those options to include as many students as possible! The Mid-Valley STEM-CTE Hub works in Linn and Benton counties to create and elevate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) & CTE (Career Technical Education) opportunities throughout the region. The program is sponsoring several of the summer enrichment camps hosted by LBCC.
