SALE OF GREATER ALBANY PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT 8J OWNED SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY
Notice is hereby given that Greater Albany Public School District (District) will receive sealed Offers to purchase the following surplus District-owned real property:
Address/Location: 2398 Marion St. SE, Albany, OR 97322
Tax Lot: 11S03W18BA00700
Size: 3.03 Acres
Minimum Bid: $500,000.00
Terms: Contingent Upon Successful Closing within ninety (90) days of Sale and Purchase Contract execution. The property will otherwise be sold “AS IS.”
Financing: There will be no financing. Cash only.
This Surplus Property Sale is conveyed “AS-IS”. The District does not make nor imply any warranties, guarantees, or representations to the accuracy of the information provided. Questions may be submitted in writing by email directed to chelsea.starner@albany.k12.or.us. All Offers must be written and delivered to the District Office, 718 SW Seventh Ave., Albany, OR 97321 no later than 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Offers must be contained in a sealed envelope and legibly labeled “OFFER FOR 2398 MARION ST NE”. Offers received after the time set will be rejected and returned unopened. The District reserves the right to waive any and all informalities, to reject all bids, or accept any bid deemed to be in the District’s best interest. Offers will be presented at the District School Board meeting on Monday, September 27, 2021. All bidders must agree to enter into a Sale and Purchase Agreement within thirty (30) days of this date. All Offers will be considered binding on the bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of presentation to the Board.
