Tangent Elementary School students learned about dairy products from Linn and Benton Dairy Princess Stephanie Breazile this week. The princess visited the school at the request of kindergarten teacher Sadie Tempel, who is a former Linn and Benton County Dairy Princess.
Breazile is a student at OSU. Her family has a dairy in Hillsboro. She spoke to the students about proper nutrition, having dairy products in their diet, and how milk is produced and processed.
All students had a chance to meet Princess Stephanie. In honor of the event, Principal Gretchen Rayburn proclaimed it an unofficial Tiara Day at the school.
