Attention parents of incoming kindergartners: Orientation and enrollment for the 2018-19 school year is scheduled for May 1 at all elementary schools.
Students will attend the school in their attendance boundary area. See the attendance boundary maps and school finder tool for more information.

Construction is set to start soon for projects funded by the 2017 bond. The bidding process has resulted in bid awards to a numerous contractors and vendors in the Albany area.
Bidding opportunities are open to any interested bidder. Contracts are awarded based on the number of criteria each bid meets.
There is tremendous interest in GAPS projects within the local contractor community, and we are excited that so many local community members will help build our schools.

Mark your calendars and please join us for the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new elementary school near Timber Ridge on April 25 at 10 a.m.
The groundbreaking will mark the start of construction for the new 600-student school, which will open in time for the start of school in September 2019.
A naming process is also underway and will be announced soon.

Albany Options School is going through an accreditation process, which includes a site visit by a team of visiting educators. The team observes classrooms, reviews programs and speaks to students and educators.
Albany Options put together this video of graduates from the class of 2017, the largest graduating class to date with 57 graduates.
The school has also earned recognition as one of the top alternative high schools in the state.
The video was posted on Facebook, boasting, “We are also excited to show the accreditation team this video with some of the graduation slideshow photos. Makes us emotional and proud every time we see these incredible graduates and think back on how much they grew, overcame challenges, and accomplished during their time with us. We can’t wait to put together the video for the class of 2018.”
